Product Description
Mechanism of Action
Digoxine (digoxin) is a classic cardiac glycoside that inhibits Na⁺/KATPase, increasing intracellular Ca²⁺ in cardiac tissue and producing positive inotropic effects. It also enhances vagal tone, reducing AVnode conduction. It is widely used in electrophysiology and heartfailure models.
Benefits and Advantages
Used in cardiac electrophysiology studies, Na⁺/KATPase pathway modelling, arrhythmia research, contractility assays and cardiomyocyte signalling investigations.
Side Effects and Risks
Risks include arrhythmias, digitalis toxicity, nausea, confusion, hyperkalemia or hypokalemia interactions, and narrow therapeutic margin. Handle with digitalisclass containment.
Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
