Mechanism of Action
Eledoisin is a tachykinin neuropeptide (related to substance P) that activates NK, NK and NK receptors, producing vasodilation, smoothmuscle contraction and painsignal transmission. It is isolated from cephalopod venom and used as a neuropeptide model compound.
