Mechanism of Action
Etilefrine is a sympathomimetic agent with mixed and adrenergic agonist properties. It increases peripheral vascular tone, enhances venous return and boosts cardiac output, improving orthostatic bloodpressure control. It acts predominantly by mediated inotropy and mild vasoconstriction.
