Product Description

Mechanism of Action

Etilefrine is a sympathomimetic agent with mixed α‑ and β‑adrenergic agonist properties. It increases peripheral vascular tone, enhances venous return and boosts cardiac output, improving orthostatic blood‑pressure control. It acts predominantly by β₁‑mediated inotropy and mild vasoconstriction.

Benefits and Advantages

Used in adrenergic‑receptor modelling, autonomic‑dysfunction studies, orthostatic‑hypotension research, and cardiovascular‑stimulation assays.

Side Effects and Risks

Risks include tachycardia, hypertension, arrhythmias, tremor and anxiety. Handle with sympathomimetic‑agonist precautions.
