Mechanism of action

Azintamide is a gastrointestinal motility modulator that enhances digestive enzyme secretion and exerts anti‑inflammatory effects on the intestinal mucosa. Its mechanism is not fully defined but involves modulation of GI neurohumoral signalling, reduction of bloating and improvement of dyspepsia symptoms.
