Product Description

Mechanism of Action

Dobutamine hydrochloride is a synthetic catecholamine and adrenergic receptor agonist with modest and effects. It increases cardiac contractility via cAMPmediated calcium handling but exerts minimal chronotropic stimulation. It enhances stroke volume and cardiac output, making it a key compound for cardiac physiology research.

Benefits and Advantages

Used in receptor signalling studies, myocardial contractility modelling, stresstest pharmacodynamics, cardiac electrophysiology assays and inotropic drug development.

Side Effects and Risks

Risks include tachyarrhythmias, hypertension, hypotension (dosedependent mixed / effects), angina, hypokalemia and extravasation injury. Handle with cardiovascular inotrope precautions.

Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
