Product Description

Mechanism of Action

Dicycloverine (dicycloverine hydrochloride) is an antimuscarinic antispasmodic that inhibits acetylcholine binding at Mreceptors on GI smooth muscle. It decreases intestinal motility, spasms and secretions. It has a similar mechanism to dicyclomine with both central and peripheral anticholinergic effects.

Benefits and Advantages

Used in muscarinicsignalling research, GI spasm modelling, cholinergicreceptor pharmacology, and visceral hypersensitivity studies.

Side Effects and Risks

Risks include tachycardia, blurred vision, cognitive impairment, urinary retention and anticholinergic toxicity at high doses. Handle under anticholinergicagent precautions.

Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
