Product Description
Mechanism of action
Betulinic acid is a lupanetype triterpenoid exhibiting selective antitumour, antiviral and antiinflammatory activity. It induces apoptosis via mitochondrial membrane permeabilisation, activation of caspases and modulation of Bcl2 family proteins. It also inhibits HIV maturation by targeting the viral Gag protein.

Side effects and risks
