Product Description
Mechanism of Action
Droperidol is a dopamine Dreceptor antagonist with antiemetic, antipsychotic and sedative properties. It blocks dopaminergic signalling in the chemoreceptor trigger zone and has adrenergic and serotonergic modulation effects. Its rapid onset makes it valuable in CNS behaviouralresearch and antiemetic assays.
Benefits and Advantages
Used in dopaminepathway research, antiemetic mechanism studies, sedation modelling, and neuroreceptor pharmacology assays.
Side Effects and Risks
Risks include QT prolongation, extrapyramidal symptoms, hypotension, akathisia, and CNS depression. Handle with antipsychotic/antiemetic precautions.
Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
