DAUNOMYCIN
Darunavir is a protease inhibitor that blocks HIV protease, preventing viral maturation and producing noninfectious virions. Used in combination antiretroviral therapy, it offers high potency and activity against resistant strains. Side effects include rash, diarrhea, lipid changes, and hepatotoxicity, especially when boosted with ritonavir or cobicistat. Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.

Product Description
Mechanism of Action
Daunomycin (daunorubicin) is an anthracycline that intercalates DNA, inhibits topoisomerase II, and generates ROS through redox cycling. This combination results in DNA strand breaks, apoptosis and strong antitumour effects. It preferentially targets rapidly dividing hematologic malignancies.
Benefits and Advantages
Used in leukemia and lymphoma research, topoII inhibition studies, DNAdamage response modelling, ROSgeneration research, and anthracycline resistance assays (e.g., Pgp pathways).
Side Effects and Risks
Risks include cumulative cardiotoxicity (dosedependent), profound myelosuppression, mucositis, alopecia and extravasation tissue injury. Handle with strict anthracycline cytotoxic containment.
Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
