Product Description
Mechanism of Action
Dobetason propionate is an ultrapotent topical corticosteroid (class I) that binds cytosolic glucocorticoid receptors (GR), inhibiting NF-κB, AP1 and proinflammatory cytokine transcription. It reduces vasodilation, edema formation, leukocyte migration and epidermal hyperproliferation. Esterification increases dermal penetration, potency and duration of receptor occupancy.

Side Effects and Risks
Risks include significant skin atrophy, telangiectasia, striae, HPAaxis suppression, periorificial dermatitis and systemic absorption with prolonged use. Handle with ultrapotent topicalsteroid precautions.
