Product Description

Mechanism of Action

Dexocyclin is a tetracyclineclass antimicrobial that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding the 30S ribosomal subunit. It prevents aminoacyltRNA docking at the Asite, halting peptide elongation. Structural differences modulate its spectrum and resistance profile.

Benefits and Advantages

Used in translationinhibition modelling, tetracyclineSAR studies, bacterial susceptibility assays, and ribosomalbinding research.

Side Effects and Risks

Risks include hepatotoxicity, photosensitivity, GI upset, tooth discoloration and microbiome alteration. Handle with tetracyclineantibiotic precautions.

Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
