Mechanism of Action
Everolimus is an mTORC1 inhibitor derived from sirolimus. It binds FKBP12, forming a complex that inhibits mTORC1 signalling, suppressing protein synthesis, cell growth, angiogenesis and metabolic regulation. It is widely used in oncology and immunomodulation research.
