Product Description

Mechanism of Action

Diflunisal lysine is a more soluble salt form of diflunisal designed to improve dissolution and bioavailability. Mechanistically, it retains classical COX inhibition, blocking prostaglandin biosynthesis and modulating inflammatory pathways. The lysine salt enhances absorption in aqueous systems and facilitates formulation flexibility.

Benefits and Advantages

Used in analgesic‑bioavailability studies, NSAID formulation development, COX‑enzyme assays, and inflammatory‑mediator modulation research.

Side Effects and Risks

Risks include GI upset, renal impairment, hypersensitivity reactions and bleeding risk. Handle with NSAID‑compound precautions.
