Mechanism of Action
Cyclizine hydrochloride is an Hantihistamine with anticholinergic and antiemetic activity. It depresses vestibular nuclei and inhibits the chemoreceptor trigger zone, reducing motioninduced nausea. It also blocks H receptors in the CNS and peripheral tissues.

Side Effects and Risks
Risks include sedation, dry mouth, blurred vision, tachycardia and paradoxical excitation. Handle with CNSactive antihistamine precautions.
