Product Description

Mechanism of Action

Colestilan is a nonabsorbed anionexchange resin that binds phosphate, bile acids and certain uremic toxins in the GI tract. It reduces intestinal phosphate absorption and modulates bileacid signalling, providing benefits in mineral metabolism and lipid regulation.

Benefits and Advantages

Used in chronickidneydisease phosphatebinding research, bileacid sequestration modelling, resinbinding studies, guttoxicity removal experiments and metabolic homeostasis research.

Side Effects and Risks

Risks include constipation, nausea, GI discomfort and interference with oral drug absorption. Handle with polymeric resin safety precautions.

Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
