Mechanism of Action
Clemastine fumarate is a firstgeneration Hantihistamine with strong anticholinergic and sedative properties. It crosses the bloodbrain barrier and blocks central and peripheral H receptors, reducing vasodilation, permeability and allergic symptoms. Also provides mild antitussive and antiemetic effects.
