Cinnamaverine hydrochloride is an isoquinoline alkaloid derivative that exhibits vasodilatory effects by inhibiting phosphodiesterase and calciuminflux pathways in vascular smooth muscle. It reduces intracellular Ca²⁺ availability and relaxes arterial smooth muscle.
