Mechanism of Action
Chloropyramine is a firstgeneration Hantihistamine with anticholinergic, analgesic and mild adrenergicblocking properties. It competitively inhibits H receptors, decreasing histamineinduced vasodilation, capillary permeability and allergic symptoms. It readily crosses the bloodbrain barrier, producing sedative CNS effects.

Side Effects and Risks
