Mechanism of action
Buclizine hydrochloride is a piperazinederived firstgeneration antihistamine that blocks H receptors and exhibits significant anticholinergic and antiemetic activity. It reduces vestibular stimulation and suppresses nausea pathways.

Side effects and risks
Risks include sedation, dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, cognitive impairment and anticholinergic toxicity at high doses. Handle with CNSactive antihistamine precautions.
