Product Description

Mechanism of Action

Ezetimibe selectively inhibits NPC1L1 (NiemannPick C1like 1) transporter in intestinal enterocytes, reducing absorption of dietary and biliary cholesterol. This lowers hepatic cholesterol influx and upregulates LDLreceptor expression.

Benefits and Advantages

Used in lipidtransport research, cholesterolhomeostasis modelling, NPC1L1 pathway assays, and LDLreduction mechanism studies.

Side Effects and Risks

Risks include GI discomfort, myalgia (especially with statins), elevated liver enzymes and fatigue. Handle with lipidmodulating agent precautions.

Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
