Product Description

Mechanism of Action

Ergocrystin is a naturally occurring ergot peptide alkaloid that interacts with dopamine D, serotonin 5HT/5HT and adrenergic receptors. It exhibits partial agonism and antagonism depending on receptor subtype and tissue, influencing vasomotor tone and pituitary hormone secretion.

Benefits and Advantages

Used in polypharmacologic receptorprofiling research, dopaminergic/serotonergic signalling studies, vascularreactivity assays, and ergotalkaloid structureactivity analyses.

Side Effects and Risks

Risks include peripheral vasoconstriction, hypertension, GI disturbances, headache and chronic ergot toxicity with overexposure. Handle cautiously as a bioactive ergot alkaloid.

Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
