Mechanism of Action

Drofnine hydrochloride is an antispasmodic and analgesic compound that reduces smoothmuscle contraction by modulating intracellular Ca²⁺ dynamics and inhibiting phosphodiesterasemediated cAMP breakdown. It exhibits mild anticholinergic activity and direct myotropic relaxation.

Side Effects and Risks

Risks include dizziness, dry mouth, mild hypotension, tachycardia and anticholinergic effects at higher doses. Handle with antispasmodiccompound precautions.
