Desonide is a lowpotency glucocorticoid that exerts antiinflammatory effects through glucocorticoid receptor activation. It inhibits phospholipase A, reduces cytokine synthesis, and suppresses immunecell recruitment. Micronization enhances dermal penetration and bioavailability for topical research.
