Delamanid is a nitroimidazole derivative that inhibits mycolic acid synthesis in Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It is used in multidrugresistant TB regimens. Mechanism of Action

Dehydrocortisone acetate is a corticosteroid derivative with reduced glucocorticoid potency. It acts through classic GRmediated gene regulation, decreasing inflammatory cytokines, inhibiting arachidonicacid pathways, and modulating carbohydrate metabolism.

Used in steroidpathway modelling, GRactivation assays, inflammationsuppression studies, and corticosteroid SAR research.

Side Effects and Risks

Risks include mild adrenal suppression, metabolic imbalance, fluid retention and skin thinning (topical). Handle with glucocorticoidclass precautions.
