Product Description
Mechanism of Action
Dalbavancin is a longacting lipoglycopeptide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cellwall synthesis by binding to the DAlaDAla terminus of peptidoglycan precursors, blocking transpeptidation. Its lipid side chain improves membrane anchoring and extends halflife, enabling weekly dosing.
Benefits and Advantages
Used in grampositive susceptibility assays, MRSAmechanism research, lipoglycopeptide SAR modelling, peptidoglycaninteraction studies, and longacting antibiotic pharmacokinetics.
Side Effects and Risks
Risks include infusion reactions, hepatotoxicity, rash, GI upset and rare hypersensitivity. Handle as a highpotency glycopeptide antibiotic.
Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
