Mechanism of Action
Cyproterone acetate is a steroidal antiandrogen that competes with dihydrotestosterone (DHT) at androgen receptors and suppresses gonadotropin release via progesteronelike negative feedback. It reduces androgendependent growth and signalling.

Side Effects and Risks
