Mechanism of Action
Cyproterone acetate is a steroidal antiandrogen that competes with dihydrotestosterone (DHT) at androgen receptors and suppresses gonadotropin release via progesterone‑like negative feedback. It reduces androgen‑dependent growth and signalling.
