Mechanism of Action
Cyproheptadine hydrochloride is an H antihistamine and serotonin (5HT) antagonist with anticholinergic and appetitestimulating properties. It blocks central and peripheral H receptors and inhibits serotoninmediated satiety pathways.

Side Effects and Risks
