Product Description

Mechanism of Action

Clofibrate is a fibrateclass lipid regulator that activates PPAR, increasing fattyacid oxidation and reducing serum triglycerides. It enhances lipoproteinlipase activity and modulates hepatic lipid metabolism.

Benefits and Advantages

Used in lipidmetabolism research, fibrate SAR studies, triglyceridelowering modelling, hepaticgene expression assays and PPARtargeted drug development.

Side Effects and Risks

Risks include gallstone formation, hepatotoxicity, myopathy and GI upset. Handle with lipidactive agent precautions.

Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
