Product Description
Mechanism of Action
Cefaloridine is a first-generation cephalosporin with strong PBP-binding affinity but notable nephrotoxicity due to transport-mediated accumulation in renal proximal tubules. It disrupts peptidoglycan crosslinking and exhibits strong gram-positive activity with moderate gram-negative coverage.
Benefits and Advantages
Used in renal-toxicity modelling, mitochondrial oxidative-injury studies, cephalosporin SAR research, bacterial cell-wall mechanism studies, and nephrotoxicity-protection assays.
Side Effects and Risks
Risks include nephrotoxicity (dose-limiting), hypersensitivity, electrolyte imbalance and tubular injury. Handle with strict renal-toxicity precautions.
Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
