Product Description
Mechanism of action
Aprindine is a class Ib antiarrhythmic agent that blocks voltagegated sodium channels in cardiac tissue. By stabilising the inactivated state of Na⁺ channels, aprindine reduces automaticity and suppresses premature ventricular contractions. It also exhibits mild local anaestheticlike effects.
Benefits and advantages
Used in electrophysiology research, arrhythmia mechanism studies, sodiumchannel pharmacology, and investigational cardiac conduction modelling. Valuable for testing channelblocking potency and electrophysiological signatures.
Side effects and risks
Possible proarrhythmia, CNS effects, visual disturbances, hypotension, and conduction abnormalities. Requires cardiacactive laboratory precautions.
Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
