Mechanism of Action
Chrysarobin is an anthracenone derivative with strong keratolytic and antiproliferative activity. It decreases DNA synthesis in hyperproliferative keratinocytes and modulates inflammatory cytokine signalling. It is historically used in dermatology for psoriasis research.
