Product Description

Mechanism of Action

7‑Keto‑DHEA is an oxygenated metabolite of dehydroepiandrosterone that does **not convert** into sex steroids. It modulates thermogenic enzymes, including mitochondrial glycerol‑3‑phosphate dehydrogenase and malic enzyme, and influences thyroid‑hormone signalling pathways, enhancing metabolic rate without androgenic effects. It also interacts with immune pathways, increasing certain T‑cell functions and modulating cytokine patterns.

Benefits and Advantages

Used in metabolic‑rate modelling, thermogenesis studies, adipocyte‑regulation research, immune‑modulation assays, and endocrine‑precursor pathway investigations where non‑androgenic activity is required.

Side Effects and Risks

Risks include mild GI discomfort, headaches, insomnia, irritability and rare hepatic enzyme elevations. Handle with steroid‑metabolite precautions.
