Flomoxef is an oxacephem lactam antibiotic that binds penicillinbinding proteins (PBPs), inhibiting transpeptidation of bacterial peptidoglycan. Its oxacephem core confers strong lactamase stability and broad Grampositive/Gramnegative activity.
