Product Description

Mechanism of Action

Etafenone is an anti‑arrhythmic and coronary vasodilator that exerts membrane‑stabilizing effects on myocardial tissue. It modulates calcium flux and reduces excitability of cardiac myocytes, helping stabilize abnormal conduction pathways.

Benefits and Advantages

Used in cardiac‑electrophysiology modelling, calcium‑handling studies, arrhythmia‑mechanism assays, and coronary‑vasodilation research.

Side Effects and Risks

Risks include hypotension, dizziness, conduction abnormalities and rare pro‑arrhythmic effects. Handle with cardioactive‑agent precautions.
