Mechanism of Action
Cytidine diphosphate choline (CDPcholine, citicoline) is an intermediate in the Kennedy pathway for phosphatidylcholine synthesis. It delivers choline and cytidine for membrane phospholipid repair, influences neuronal membrane fluidity and modulates neurotransmitter synthesis (especially acetylcholine and dopamine). It also supports mitochondrial function and neuroprotective signalling.

Side Effects and Risks
