Product Description

Mechanism of Action

Chlorcyclizine is a firstgeneration Hantihistamine with anticholinergic and antiemetic properties. It competitively blocks H receptors, reducing histaminemediated vascular permeability, pruritus and allergic responses. Its ability to cross the bloodbrain barrier produces sedative and antimotionsickness effects.

Benefits and Advantages

Used in allergypathway research, histaminereceptor pharmacology, CNSpenetrant antihistamine studies, antiemetic modelling, and motionsickness mechanism investigations.

Side Effects and Risks

Risks include sedation, cognitive impairment, anticholinergic effects (dry mouth, urinary retention), tachycardia and dizziness. Handle as a CNSactive firstgeneration antihistamine.
