Mechanism of Action
ChloramineB (sodium ptoluenesulfonchloramide) is an Nchlorinated aromatic compound functioning as an oxidizing and chlorinating antiseptic. It releases active chlorine species in aqueous environments, oxidizing microbial proteins, disrupting cell membranes and inactivating pathogens.

Side Effects and Risks
Risks include skin and mucosal irritation, oxidative tissue damage at high exposure, environmental toxicity and respiratory irritation. Handle using oxidanthandling PPE.
