Product Description
Mechanism of action
Bunitrolol is a non-selective β-adrenergic receptor antagonist with intrinsic sympathomimetic activity (ISA). It blocks β₁ and β₂ receptors while simultaneously providing partial agonist effects, resulting in reduced heart rate and contractility with less resting bradycardia than pure antagonists.

Used in β-receptor pharmacology, ISA-mechanism studies, cardiovascular research, arrhythmia modelling, β-antagonist SAR analysis and receptor-selectivity comparisons.
Side effects and risks
Risks include bronchoconstriction, fatigue, dizziness, bradycardia and metabolic effects. Handle using beta-blocker safety controls.
