Product Description
Mechanism of action
Bromergocryptine is an ergotderived alkaloid exhibiting dopaminergic agonist activity, primarily at D receptors. It inhibits prolactin secretion via antagonism of pituitary lactotrophs and modulates central dopaminergic signalling. It also influences serotonergic and adrenergic pathways.
Benefits and advantages
Applied in endocrineresearch models (prolactin regulation), dopaminergic signalling studies, Parkinsonism investigations, pituitaryadenoma research and ergotalkaloid structureactivity analyses.
Side effects and risks
Risks include nausea, orthostatic hypotension, vasospasm, hallucinations, cardiacvalve fibrosis (high chronic exposure) and GI upset. Requires ergotalkaloid handling controls.
Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
