Product Description

Mechanism of action

Betahistine mesylate is another stable salt variant optimised for aqueous formulations, preserving the H₁-agonist and H₃-antagonist mechanisms central to vestibular modulation. It improves capillary permeability and neurotransmitter turnover in vestibular nuclei.

Benefits and advantages

Used in vestibular neurophysiology research, formulation science, receptor-ligand modelling and microcirculation physiology studies. Its salt form improves reproducibility in in vitro and in vivo experiments.

Side effects and risks

Risks include mild hypotension, headaches, dyspepsia and rare allergic reactions. Follow CNS-active compound containment during handling.
