Mechanism of Action

Fenticlor is a halogenated phenolic antimicrobial that disrupts bacterial and fungal cell membranes by denaturing proteins and destabilizing lipid bilayers. Its chlorinated aromatic structure produces strong oxidative and membrane‑active effects that inhibit essential enzymatic pathways.
