Etofenamate is a non‑steroidal anti‑inflammatory drug (NSAID) belonging to the flufenamic‑acid family. It inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX‑1 and COX‑2), decreasing prostaglandin synthesis involved in inflammation and pain.
