Mechanism of Action

Endrisone (Δ¹‑cortienic acid derivatives) is a topical corticosteroid that binds glucocorticoid receptors, suppressing pro‑inflammatory cytokines, inhibiting leukocyte migration and reducing erythema and edema. It has moderate potency with good epidermal penetration.

Benefits and Advantages

Used in dermal‑inflammation research, GR‑signalling assays, cytokine‑suppression modelling, and dermatologic‑pharmacology studies.

Side Effects and Risks

Risks include skin atrophy, irritation, HPA‑axis suppression (rare), telangiectasia and allergic reactions. Handle with corticosteroid precautions.
