Product Description
Mechanism of Action
Difluprednate is an ultrapotent difluorinated corticosteroid with high lipid solubility and strong GR affinity. It suppresses ocular and systemic inflammation by inhibiting phospholipase A, reducing prostaglandin/leukotriene synthesis, and blocking NFBmediated transcription. It is widely used in ocular inflammatory research.
Benefits and Advantages
Used in ophthalmicinflammation modelling, GRactivation studies, cytokinesuppression assays, and corticosteroid potency comparison research.
Side Effects and Risks
Risks include increased intraocular pressure, glaucoma risk, cataract formation, infection susceptibility, and systemic absorption with prolonged exposure. Handle with ophthalmiccorticosteroid precautions.
Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
