DEPRENALINE

Deprenaline is an adrenergic antagonist that modulates sympathetic activity by blocking alpha receptors, reducing vascular tone and associated responses. Benefits include decreased blood pressure and improved circulatory control. Side effects may include dizziness, hypotension, nasal congestion, and fatigue due to reduced adrenergic signaling. Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.

Product Description

Mechanism of Action

Deprenaline (also known as epinine or desoxyphedrine) is a synthetic catecholamine structurally related to dopamine and norepinephrine. It acts primarily as a nonselective adrenergic agonist with affinity for and receptors, enhancing vasoconstriction, cardiac output, and smoothmuscle response. It also serves as a metabolic and pharmacologic analogue in catecholamine biosynthesis studies.

Benefits and Advantages

Used in adrenergic-pathway modelling, catecholamine biosynthesis research, receptor-binding studies, cardiovascular pharmacology, and metabolism assays involving MAO and COMT enzymatic pathways.

Side Effects and Risks

Risks include hypertension, tachycardia, arrhythmias, anxiety, tremor, vasoconstriction and CNS overstimulation. Handle with potentsympathomimetic precautions.

Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
