DALCETRAPIB
Dalcetrapib is a CETP inhibitor that modulates cholesterol transport by increasing HDL cholesterol without significantly lowering LDL. It has been studied for cardiovascular risk modification. Benefits include improved HDL profiles, though outcome data are mixed. Side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, nasopharyngitis, and mild increases in blood pressure or liver enzymes. Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.

Product Description
Mechanism of Action
Dalcetrapib is a cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETP) modulator that increases HDL levels by altering CETP activity. Unlike strong CETP inhibitors, it partially inhibits lipid exchange between HDL and LDL/VLDL without excessively suppressing CETP. It influences lipoprotein structure, reverse cholesterol transport and inflammatory pathways.
Benefits and Advantages
Used in CETPpathway studies, HDLmetabolism research, atherosclerosis modelling, reversecholesteroltransport analysis and lipidmodulator SAR investigations.
Side Effects and Risks
Risks include GI symptoms, increased blood pressure, inflammationrelated biomarker shifts and rare hypersensitivity. Handle with lipidmetabolism compound precautions.
Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
