Product Description
Mechanism of action
Bromperidol decanoate is a long-acting depot formulation of bromperidol, a highly potent butyrophenone antipsychotic. The decanoate ester confers slow release following intramuscular injection, creating sustained plasma levels and prolonged D-receptor antagonism. It blocks dopamine signalling in mesolimbic and mesocortical pathways, reducing psychotic symptoms and agitation.

Side effects and risks
