ADRENALINE
Adrenaline (epinephrine) is a catecholamine that stimulates and adrenergic receptors, producing vasoconstriction, bronchodilation, and increased cardiac output. It is used for anaphylaxis, cardiac arrest, and severe asthma. Benefits include rapid, lifesaving physiological effects. Side effects include tremors, tachycardia, hypertension, anxiety, and arrhythmias, especially with repeated doses. Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.

Product Description
Mechanism of action
Adrenaline (epinephrine) is an endogenous catecholamine that acts as an agonist at alpha and betaadrenergic receptors. It increases heart rate and contractility, produces vasoconstriction in many vascular beds, causes bronchodilation and raises blood glucose levels, thereby supporting the cardiovascular and respiratory systems in acute stress states.
Benefits and advantages
Formulated adrenaline is lifesaving in anaphylactic shock, cardiac arrest and severe asthma exacerbations. Its rapid onset and potent haemodynamic effects make it an essential emergency medicine. Low doses are also used in local anaesthetic solutions to prolong effect and reduce systemic absorption.
Side effects and risks
Potential adverse effects include tachycardia, arrhythmias, hypertension, anxiety, tremor and headache. Extravasation can cause local ischaemia. Patients with underlying cardiovascular disease are at increased risk of complications. As an API, adrenaline is sensitive to oxidation and requires careful handling and storage.
Professional use only. Supplied exclusively to licensed pharmaceutical manufacturers and healthcare institutions.
Only GMP materials will be supplied, logistics all according to GDP.
